Invitation
It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 10th meeting of the Ionizing Radiation and Polymers symposium, IRaP’2012, which will be held 14th-19th October, 2012, in Cracow, Poland. IRaP meetings, initiated in 1994 by Dr. Alain Le Moel and his co-workers from CEA-Saclay, have been since then held biannually at various locations on four continents. These meetings have established themselves as an important international forum for the exchange and dissemination of information on the effects of ionizing radiation on polymers.
The IRaP'2012 meeting will provide an excellent opportunity to meet and discuss the developments both in the basic science in the field of radiation chemistry and physics of polymeric systems and in the area of applications of ionizing radiation in polymer chemistry and physics, new trends and ideas in radiation processing of polymers, emerging technologies and products. These topics will be addressed by international experts from academia and industry.
IRaP’2012 will be organized jointly by the Radiation Research Foundation, the Institute of Applied Radiation Chemistry (Lodz) as well the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology (Warsaw) in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
We invite you to the historical capital of Poland with famous mediaeval city centre, royal castle and Jewish quarter as well as many other tourist attractions like Wieliczka Salt Mines.
We look forward to meeting you in Cracow.
